Dr. Raymond Johnson

A Warren, Pennsylvania native, Dr. Johnson takes pride in being able to work and provide services in the community that raised him.  Following high school, Dr. Johnson attended the University of Pittsburgh where he graduated in three years with a bachelors degree in biology and a minor in chemistry.  While he was an undergraduate student, he worked at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in the Informatics department on various research projects and was recognized with a top 3 placement in the undergraduate research fair for his work on the electronic patient record.

After completing his undergraduate education, Dr. Johnson returned to Warren and worked as an Intern at the Crescent Park Dental Clinic, where he gained valuable insight into dentistry for the underserved and community service.  He then went on to complete his dental education at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine and graduated in 2014.

Dr. Johnson was one of only four clinicians to be accepted for the prestigious General Practice Residency at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Pittsburgh.  This advanced training allowed him to gain experience into many areas of dentistry including crown and bridge work, root canals, implants and cosmetic restorative procedures.  It was during his residency that Dr. Johnson developed a life-long love for continuing education.  The Pennsylvania State Board mandates a minimum of 30 hours of continuing education every 2 years to maintain licensure but has surpassed this number and averages over 175 hours every year, an achievement that demonstrates his commitment to continuous learning and providing top quality care.

Following his one-year residency, Dr. Johnson worked as an associate at a reputable dental office in Warren, PA, until he was able to establish his own office, Mint Dental.
